Mainly set the work mode of the base station, including base station coordinates, base station data link and other parameters.

The data link settings of the base station are mainly divided into [Internal radio mode], [External radio mode].


Internal radio

Internal radio mode means that two instruments, the base station and the rover, operate at the same time and transmit data through the internal radio. The data link needs to select [Internal radio radio] and set the number of radio channels, protocol and radio power of the base station.

First, select [Internal radio] of the data link, setup the suitable channel & protocol of internal radio.

Second, click [Save & Apply] in the lower right corner and wait for the progress bar to complete. if the light of the base station starts to flash, it means that the base station is set up successfully and starts transmitting data.


External radio

External radio mode means that the base station connects to a high-power external radio and transmits data to the rover station through a large antenna. Select [External Radio] for the data link, set the baud rate, and then click [Save & Apply] in the lower right corner.

This mode is relatively simple. The radio channel and other setting items of the base station are set on the external radio, and there is no need to setup on the software. After the mode is apply, If the light of the base station starts to flash, it means that the base station is set up successfully and starts transmitting data.
